Meet Stephanie

I'm Stephanie & I am so excited that your search has led you here. There are few things I love more than capturing moments in an authentic way that otherwise would have been lost in time. I take a modern and realistic approach to photography keeping sessions fun and laid back. I value love and human connection over everything,  a believer that every woman is beautiful (and will make you see it too!), and that photography is a gift that should be cherished and shared.

How it all started

I think it’s always a fun part of my story to mention that my degree is actually in baking and pastry arts…yup. back in the day I attended the Culinary Institute of America and I knew about 2 weeks in that pursuing a career in baking wasn’t it for me. I’ve always been called to art in all of its forms and my enjoyment for baking and the really awesome schooling seemed like a good enough reason for me to go for it. Following college I met my husband and together we started a family. I can date my love for photography all the way back to childhood but it wasn’t until my daughter was born that it was reignited and I was able to truly value its importance. Life was flashing before my eyes and I desperately wanted to be able to push pause. I wanted to freeze the little giggles, the first steps, the toothless smiles, and the way her tiny little hand fit perfectly in mine. I wanted to press pause on life and cherish it a little longer. I quickly found that photography was the only way that I was realistically able to do that. I filled my days with your typical “Mom duties” and captured every moment of my growing family. It wasn’t until 2020 when life actually slowed down that I felt a deep calling to pursue photography as a career. I’ve since turned my obsession with freezing moments and capturing connection through imagery into a successful career where I’ve been blessed enough to photograph hundreds of families, couples, individuals, and even furry friends. I’ve never looked back and I don’t ever plan to. Photography was the missing piece. The people that I’ve met and the doors that this business has opened has fulfilled me beyond my wildest dreams.

I have A puppy that stands taller than me & I wouldn’t have it any other way - She is also is the Mascot at Stephanie Vaccaro Photography!

  • Stephanie recently did a photo shoot for my family that was long overdue! In the past family photos always felt like a stressful event, so I kept putting it off. She captured such beautiful moments of our family in the most perfect setting that I will cherish for a lifetime!
